Refund policy

All Sales Are Final. That’s The Cake Bakery requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit/retainer to book any order. All major cards are accepted (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express) and cash.

All orders that require delivery – payment must be paid in full prior to delivery. No COD.

Refunds
We do not provide refunds. In the instance we have to reimburse a customer, it will only be done with a store credit with That's The Cake LLC.

Damages/Returns/Issues With An Order:

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. This must happen within 1 hour of receiving the item(s).

Damages/Issues/Returns Continued:

All items of the order must be returned on the next available business operating day with the order in the same condition it left the bakery for either a pickup or delivery by personnel for the idea of a store credit. (Saturday orders we must be notified in a written email of the issue by Sunday 3pm.) Following this, we will decide whether a store credit is required. Not following these policies we cannot give any kind of store credits at any time. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the order to That's The Cake LLC. We do not come pick up any orders.

Forgetting An Order:

Failure to communicate with That's The Cake LLC via written email about a forgotten order does not garner a refund or store credit. That's The Cake LLC communicates by phone and email about orders that have been forgotten at least 2 times. We are unable to give refunds for inclement weather delays or closures.

Cancellations:

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it within 7 business days of pickup or delivery. If you place a 50% deposit, this is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

If the order is paid in full, 50% of the full payment (deposit) and the order is not within 7 business days of pickup, the other 50% can be used as a store credit only.

We do not offer refunds.

Gift Cards:

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or refunding gift cards.

For any other items that are not food purchases, such as candles, sparklers, toppers, or services rendered (deliveries, tastings). To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, undamaged, in its original packaging. Deliveries must not have been provided or attempted, and cake tastings cannot have passed the date and time of the services rendered.

Returns/Refunds on candles, sparklers, toppers, or services rendered (deliveries and tastings) also require the receipt or proof of purchase.
